About the Journal

The Anatolian Journal of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (AJAIC) is a peer-reviewed, independent, and open-access scientific journal devoted to promoting scientific knowledge and research in anesthesiology, pain medicine, and intensive care medicine. The journal publishes original research articles, clinical and experimental investigations, narrative and systematic reviews, unique case reports, editorial perspectives, letters to the editor, and discussions addressing recent advances influencing clinical practice.

Upholding rigorous scientific quality and ethical publishing standards, AJAIC conducts a double-blind peer-review process to ensure objective and high-quality evaluation of submitted manuscripts, in accordance with international ethical guidelines including COPE, WAME, and ICMJE. As part of the editorial evaluation process, manuscripts undergo plagiarism assessment in line with international ethical standards.

The journal serves as a scientific forum for national and international researchers, physicians, and healthcare professionals, aiming to contribute to the advancement of medical science. AJAIC is published three times annually, in January, May, and September. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. The journal publishes in English and is committed to strengthening its international visibility and academic impact.
